Doctor or engineer, the two sides of a rolling coin…. And the rest of the crowd is nothing but depressed and hopeless
minds.
In a few days, the merit lists of
medical colleges will start displaying and after the selection of a few students,
the admissions will be closed. The rest of the students will go to private colleges
that can afford these. And all the others who can not afford these will face
their first defeat of life. Considering their first defeat, they will get
themselves depressed thinking that they will not be able to do any other work
because they have not saved the family honors by becoming a doctor or
engineer.

Just think for a while that where
are we standing. Just for making names and money, every one of us wants our kids
to be doctors or engineers and when they do not achieve that position they do
not remain in a position even to decide what to do then. Hopelessly, they go to
universities and just study to get a degree and a smart earning.
After this, they get a job unhappily and spend their lives and die giving no benefits to
society. But I disagree with these
concepts. Firstly, this is the mistake of parents that impose their decisions
on their children when they are born that he/she would be a doctor or engineer.
Then the students themselves make plans to be a doctor as if they would get
cinderella's castle by this. These are really the evil concepts in my view. All
the parents should take care of the liking of the child’s interest and then choose
the subject that he/she wants to study. Then they will go outstanding, they
will become scientists, lawyers, artists, Islamic scholars, poets, and great
teachers. Just give them a free hand and confidence, they will never lose.
They will achieve victories and they will discover and make innovative things.
I appeal to all the parents and teachers that please do not spoil the children with
these lame acts.
I have visited a university and have
talked by going in different classes that how many of the students have come there by choice and I was very much disturbed by the result that in the whole
university, only one percent of students came in the subjects of their choice.
Then think for a while that what type of society we are making.
And we should
not wonder by seeing these only one percent ging on top and the rest as the
sheeps moved by a stick. A humble request to the students is, they should sort
out the things from matric level that in which field they are more interested
and they should just go there instead of moving to the crowd.
Prayers come true
when you go in the right direction of work otherwise you remain a dumb person
not believing in him/herself because you think you have not got admission to a
medical or engineering college so you can not do anything in life. Just stop
this childish behavior and prove yourself able to do the best in the field of
your choice. Seek help from the Almighty and you will be blessed eternally.
